2017 Year In Review

At the end of the year I like to take some time to look back at the year that was. As I get older the years seem to fly by more and more and taking a breath to look back at the past 12 months really makes me realize all the things that I have done and accomplished. Instead of a blur the year comes into clear focus which, to me, seems to slow down time – at least for the moment. In 2017 sooooo many things have changed! This time last year Liv was an itty bitty 5 month old baby, I wasn’t training seriously again yet, we were living in an apartment, I was still in school AND my job was part time. As we enter 2018 Liv is a 17 month old toddler, I got back on the training bandwagon and qualified for the Olympic Trials, we bought a house, I graduated and I’m working full time!! Last January I never could have imagined all of the things 2017 had in store, which makes the idea of 2018 even more exciting… I can’t wait to see how the year unfolds. But before I get ahead of myself and start looking forward to the new year I wanted to take this chance to share the highlights from the past year with you.
