6 years!

6 years ago I went on a date with this kid named Henri.He picked me up in his friend’s car (wearing too much cologne) and took  me to dinner at Paradise Cove.

The light above our table kept turning off and the bus boy had to come over and hit it with a broom to turn it back on.

We finished the night eating cheesecake on the beach and talking for hours!

Looking back it’s crazy to think that we’ve been together for SIX YEARS!! In some ways it seems like we just met yesterday and in others I can hardly remember what my life was like before we were together. But what I know for sure is that I am a very lucky girl to have such a man in my life. The last six years of my life have been the best of my life and I’m so happy that I married my best friend. 

Here’s to the many years of loving, laughing and running that we have ahead of us!Now just to get him to run a marathon with me… 😉 I kid!!
