Hi there, my name is Lauren & welcome to The Foodie Runner!

I’m a wife, mother & cross country coach living in sunny Southern California. I am an amateur elite runner and am so lucky to represent the rabbitELITE team. I’m currently on a postpartum running journey after having my first daughter, Lavinia, in July 2016.

My two biggest passions in life are running and motherhood – I strive to be an example to other women that they don’t have to give up their running (or general fitness) goals once they become mothers. Personally, I have run personal bests in the road 10K, half marathon and marathon since my daughters birth so I know first hand that it is possible to be #fasterafterbaby!

I just ran my fourth marathon, the California International Marathon, and ran a 22 minute PR and qualified for the Olympic Trials Marathon with a 2:44:16! I put in a lot of hard work to get here and I’m looking forward to working even harder over the next 2 years so that I can crush it at the Trials in 2020!

When I’m not at my coaching job or pounding it out on the pavement you can find me spending as much time as possible with my crew. Oh I love them so much!
