WHAT’S BABY FLORIS UP TO?
According to my apps, Baby Floris is about the size of a navel orange.
He/she is about 4 inches long and weights approximately 2.5 ounces.
He/she is inhaling amniotic fluid to practice breathing. Their eyes and ears are moving to their final places so they look more like a baby now! He/she can also move all of their limbs and are likely moving around a lot in there! 🙂
WEIGHT GAINED
I haven’t weighed myself since my appointment 2 weeks ago but there is definitely some serious bump growth going on so I’m probably up a few pounds since then.
WORKOUTS
All my workouts felt great this week! You can read my in depth workout recap here.
SYMPTOMS
A sore lower back, tight calves and hamstrings after I run and a varicose vein that appeared on my left calf this week… not loving this one so much. 🙁
MOVEMENT
Not yet :/ but I’m dying for it to happen… soon!
FOOD AVERSIONS
None really – mostly spicy foods and some fruits and veggies.
FOOD CRAVINGS
Popcorn, chips and salsa, Italian subs, burritos and sushi (cooked rolls of course)!
SLEEP
I’m still having trouble falling asleep at night but when I do finally get to sleep I sleep hard! Waking up is hard in the mornings so I’m making a better effort to go to sleep earlier.
MATERNITY CLOTHES
I can still fit in my regular clothes but I’m starting to browse deals on maternity clothes online because I know I’ll need them soon!
STRETCH MARKS
I did notice a few light white stretch marks on my butt but other than that nothing too bad.
MISS ANYTHING?
I am missing Henri but we’re down to 40 days until he comes home!!
BELLY BUTTON IN OR OUT?
Still in the pre-baby innie/outie phase.
BABY ITEMS PURCHASED
Nothing specifically for the baby but I did buy these two baby books. 😀
GENDER SUSPICIONS
I still think boy! We’ll know for sure in a few weeks!
FAVORITE MOMENT OF THE WEEK
This is a tie betweeen…
1 – My first prenatal massage! Even though my belly hasn’t grown much yet I can sense some changes in my body that have led to soreness so it was really nice to get those knots worked out.
2 – Getting an adorable congratulations card from a family friend. 🙂
LOOKING FORWARD TO
Totally not pregnancy related but I ordered a sectional from Move Loot and it’s being delivered on Saturday! It’s going to replace our current couch (aka – the twin mattress I bought in college) which will be going in the baby’s nursery once we move into our new apartment!
