Boston Marathon Monday & Training Summary: 4/11/2016-4/17/2016

I can’t believe it’s been 2 years since I ran Boston. It’s hard not being there this year, especially since my qualification time officially expires after today. Boston was such an amazing experience and I can’t wait to get back there again… even if I have to run another marathon before I can go back!

This weekend was a busy one, full of lots of family time. Saturday my mom and I headed down to visit my aunt, uncle and cousins in Laguna and Sunday we had dinner with Henri’s family. In between my mom and I were able to squeeze in a mani/pedi, a run, a few episodes of Downton Abbey, church and a coffee date! And of course… some studying because I have a little thing called finals starting tonight.

Monday: 4 miles @ 7:50 pace

Tuesday: 3 miles @ 7:48 pace

Wednesday: 4 miles @ 8:03 pace

Thursday: 90 minute walk 

Friday: [AM] 4 miles @ 7:42 pace [PM] 30 minute walk

Saturday: [AM] 7 super duper hilly miles @ 8:09 pace [PM] 60 minute walk

Sunday: Rest Day

TOTALS: 22 miles run // 3 hours walking
