CIM Training: Week 17

After a week off from work it’s back to reality today. The past 7 days were such a great refresher and we the perfect mix of production around the house and fun family time. We also took family pictures on Saturday morning and Lavinia was absolutely adorable – we CANNOT wait to see how they turned out!

Last week was also week 1 of my two week taper for CIM. I can’t believe that the marathon I’ve been training so hard for the past 4 months is less than a week away! I am so excited and the best kind of nervous for race day because I know that I have a big PR in me and in a way I just cannot wait to get the race “over with”. But I’m trying to be patient and am doing everything I can to put myself in the best position on Sunday.

I’ll have a more detailed post regarding my goals and all that up tomorrow but for now here’s a look at what Taper Week #1 looked like.
