Friday Favorites [3]

Phew – I made it through the week! After 3 flights, 5 airports, 9.3 miles of racing, 2 retirement parties, and countless hours in the car I made it back to California yesterday morning. As much as I wanted to sleep away the rest of the day I had two hours of meetings for my new job (details to come next week – PROMISE!) and 4 hours of class. Needless to say I slept gooood last night!

As tiring as this week has been it was so so worth it! I had way too much fun for one post so I’ll just share some of the best moments in Friday Favorites fashion!

FRIDAY FAVORITES 

Flipping through Runner’s World and stumbling upon a picture of my college track! If you look realllllly closely at the scoreboard you can see Pepperdine on the top. I can’t even tell you how many workouts/miles I logged in that exact spot during my four years as a Wave… so many great memories!

Celebrating my dad and all the hard work he’s done for the past 32 years! I’m in awe of him and so excited for him and my mom’s new adventures!

On that note – getting to watch dad’s “acting debut” in a video that his company made in 1999. Couldn’t stop laughing!

Snuggling with my sister’s dog Oliver – he is such a cuddle bud and will lay there for hours just snoozing (shhh, don’t tell Finn and Laci!)

Making a quick sibling/cousin trip to Uhlman’s for mid-afternoon ice cream cones! 

Going through family photos and finding oldies but goodies like this one!

Having my high school track all to myself on Wednesday morning for a little speed workout of 2x 800m, 4x 400m, 4x 200m. 

Ordering an ice coffee at CofFEED in Bryant park and getting a GIANT black and white cookie for FREE!!
