Leaving On A Jet Plane…

Happy Friday!!

We had quite the early morning around here because Henri had a 6:15am flight to catch… hellooo 3am wake-up time (I’m going to be dragging by the end of the day that’s for sure!). He’s heading off to GREECE for a two month business trip! I’m going to miss him like crazy but am also so excited for him because it’s a great opportunity and learning experience for him work-wise.

When we moved back to California Henri and I both took a chance on our dream careers. As I mentioned back in July, Henri went back to his passion – film. Since April he’s worked on two different television shows (I wish I could spill the beans on which ones but we have to keep things under wraps) and today he’s off to start show #3. I am soooooo proud of his hard work and his drive to be successful in a pretty tough industry, even if it means 2 month business trips! 😀

Luckily, we both had the day off yesterday so we celebrated his last day in fine fashion!

I started the day off with some easy miles while Henri slept in. 5 HILLY miles @ 7:48 pace.

Then I made Cinnamon Swirl French toast with fruit & coffee for breakfast! We hardly ever get to sit down and eat breakfast together so this was a treat. Such a great start to the day.

Between lots of packing and last minute errand running we popped over to see my MIL. While Henri got a hair cut the pups and I enjoyed some time in their backyard.
