PUMPKIN! & Training Summary – 9/1/2014-9/7/2014

There’s nothing quite like a calf massage and the promise of a rest day after a tough week (9 days in a day) of training!photo 3 (48)Our race recovery yesterday involved a lot of pool floating, tennis watching and baking…

I made these cookies from the Pioneer Woman for a party we are having today for my grandpa’s birthday. They are really good but next time I would leave out the coffee powder because even though she insists that you can’t I get a very strong coffee flavor from them.photo 1 (54)We had to run to the grocery store to grab a few ingredients for the cookies and and when we were the the baking aisle the new stockpile of pumpkin caught my eye so I loaded up!photo 2 (49)… and so the fall of all things pumpkin begins. 🙂
