Scenes from San Diego
Woke up early and got in this week’s long run around the bay.
Finished up with some strides!
Henri’s work was providing breakfast so I stopped by and grabbed a breakfast burrito – not my usual eggs and veggies but potatoes, bacon, sausage and cheese are pretty tasty too! 😉
Took a walk to find coffee while chatting with my sister on the phone.
Came back to the hotel for a quick call with a new athlete and to get some coaching work done.
Hydrated with some lemon-lime Cocogo!
Speaking of Cocogo they are offering 20% off for Memorial Day!
Headed back out to run an errand for Henri and did a little browsing in the shops. I found a dress that I really like for our friends’ wedding in August.
Took the birthday boy to dinner at Don Chido because you CAN’T go to San Diego and not eat Mexican food! We started with the yellowtail ceviche, and for appetizers I got the chicken mole enchilladas and Henri ordered the seafood chile rellano. Everything was soooo tasty!
For the first time in my life I surprised Henri with what his present was(tickets to the LA Galaxy-Barcelona game this summer)!!! I tried really hard not to pat myself on the back too much about that, haha!! 😀
Finished the night off with mini churros and dolce de leche dipping sauce. These were by far the highlight of the meal!
Today I’m off to meet up with my SIL and MIL to celebrate my MIL’s birthday! Have a great Saturday!!!
