Training Summary: 2/23/2015-3/1/2015

Monday – dynamic warm-up + 5 miles easy on the treadmill @ 7:42 pace + 15 minutes core work

Tuesday – dynamic warm-up + 8 miles easy on the treadmill w/ 10x 30-45 second pick-ups 7:25 average pace

Wednesday – 7 miles easy on the treadmill @ 7:30 pace 

 

Thursday – 6 miles easy on the treadmill @ 7:35 pace 

Friday – 4 mile shake out run in Florida + 4x 50m strides & 2x 100m strides

Saturday – Best Damn Race Half Marathon – 10 minute warm-up (1.3 miles) + half marathon race @ 1:23:19 [forgot to do a cool-down before I changed because I was upset and opted for one of the free massages instead of trying to run again]

Sunday – much needed rest day after the race yesterday!!

 

Weekly Totals: Miles = 44.52  * Total Time Running = 5:18:47 * Average Pace = 7:10

Monday – 5 miles easy on the treadmill @ 7:28 pace 

Tuesday – 7 miles easy on the treadmill @ 7:36 pace

Wednesday – 8 miles easy on the treadmill @ 7:36 pace

Thursday – [slept in because I’m trying to kick a cold] PM: 5 miles easy on the treadmill @ 7:40 pace

Friday – 10 mile workout on the treadmill (2 mile warm-up, 3x 2 miles w/ 2 min jogging rest {11:58[5:59 pace], 11:51[5:55 pace] and 11:48[5:54 pace]}, 2 mile cool-down) 6:40 average pace  

Saturday – 18.1 mile long run w/ my training partner @ 7:05 pace

Sunday – 8 miles easy on the treadmill @ 7:27 pace
