Training Summary: 9/29/2014-10/5/2014

Good news!! I made another batch of pumpkin granola and I didn’t burn it this time, so that recipe is officially coming at ya tomorrow!photo 5 (39)Yesterday’s long run was a little chilly and rainy but it was also pretty awesome because I got to run the last 6 miles on these beautiful trails with Henri!photo 3 (60)Couples that run together stay together, amiright?? (It’s also important to #keepittight by wearing ProCompression on every run… πŸ˜€ ) photo 2 (63)We warmed up after our long run with a coffee date at Bittersweet Co., which is quickly becoming my favorite place to grab a cappuccino.

Training Summary: 9/29/2014-10/5/2014 

Monday – AM: 8 miles @ 7:31 pace PM: 40 mins of core & strength

Tuesday – 8.68 mile track workout (2 mile warm-up, 12x400m with 200m jogging rest [80.7, 82.4, 82.5, 79.6, 80.5, 81.7, 80.7, 79.5, 80.1, 81.4, 80.2, 80.5], 2 mile cool-down) average pace – 7:06

Wednesday – AM: 8 miles @ 7:30 pace on the treadmill because it was dark and rainy outside! PM: 3.53 miles @ 7:42 pace (with Henri during his warm-up and cool-down for his workout, and laps around the track to cheer for him!) 

Thursday – 7 miles @ 7:23 pace + 10 mins of continuous Ab work <– burned soooo good!

Friday – 8 mile tempo workout (2 mile warm-up, 4 mile tempo @ 7:29 pace, 2 mile cool-down) average pace – 7:04

Saturday – 16 mile long run @ 7:39 pace (10 on my own @ 7:20 pace + 6 with Henri on the trails so we took it nice and easy)

Sunday – 30 mins YOGA/stretching

Total Mileage: 59.23   Average Weekly Pace: 7:25   Total 2014 miles: 2,063.8/3,000

What is your favorite running shoe brand? I’m in love with a lot of different shoes and don’t have a favorite right now but Henri swears by his Hoka’s!

What’s your go-to coffee shop order? I am a cappuccino girl through and through.
