Thinking Out Loud: 4/23/2015

Hey there! I have so many things to tell you so how about some Thinking Out Loud!?? Thanks Amanda for giving us the chance for a weekly word/photo dump! haha

When Henri and I first made our moving plans it didn’t seem like a big deal that he would head to Cali a week and a half before me. I would be working so time would fly right? Well, I miss my hubby like crazy and cannot wait to see his face on Saturday night! ONLY 2 more days!!!!!!!photo 4 (32)

 

Speaking of Henri – I have to brag on him a little bit real quick. Not only did he drive all of our stuff (and the dogs) across the country in 4 days – he’s spent the majority of the time since he got to CA finding an apartment and getting everything ready so he can move all our stuff in before I even get there. Husband of the year right there I tell ya!!!

And the apartment he found is pretty much perfect… I’ve been on Pinterest every day since we put the deposit down looking for home decorating inspiration! All I’m sure about is that some of our wedding/engagement pictures need to be set up somewhat similarly to this.

Hopkinton is back to it’s sleepy little self after all the excitement of the marathon. The starting line is still there though… and all the porta-johns. lol

I’m already dreaming of Boston 2016 (and 2017, 18 19 20…). I told a bunch of people over the weekend that I don’t want to miss another Boston ever again!

My running this week has been going VERY well! I did a little trail running Wednesday…

IMG_7246… and a track workout this morning. It was short and sweet but it also felt good to be out there and get my legs turning over fast. By the end of each repeat my lungs hurt more than my hip which I’m taking as a good thing! A total of 5 miles @ 7:05 pace with 1 mile warm-up + 1x800m (2:32), 2x 400m (75, 75), 4x 200m (37, 38, 36, 35) all with rest equal to the interval before it + 1 mile cool-down.

I have one more appointment with my physical therapist tonight before the move. So I’ll be back first thing in the morning with a hip/spring & summer racing plans update! 🙂
